Why Awareness is Needed

On Saturday a woman with EDS died. I did not know her, but every EDS death becomes personal and is mourned hard by the entire EDS community. It reminds us that EDS doesn't just cause hypermobility, it can cause so many things that can lead to death. It is scary to think about it but it is our reality. It makes me even more determind to raise awareness.
