The Importance of Hobbies

When you are chronically ill sometimes your life can become very dark because you spend your days in bed without human contact for days. Hobbies become very important.

Here are my hobbies:

-Reading: I love to read my favourite authors are Jodi Picoult and V.C Andrews. Reading is something I can do most of the time.
-Writing: I love to write which is why I started this blog it is a great way to get my frustrations out and a way to help people.
-Scrapbooking: On the days when I am well enough I love to scrapbook.
-Arts and Crafts: I love all sorts of arts and crafts.
- Facebooking: I love facebook as it helps me to meet people and talk.

So what are your hobbies??

    1. I love your blog. I like to read poetry but I am not great at writing it. That sounds great. I cook as well- I am getting a thermomix soon to make cooking easier. I am so glad you like my blog as I really like yours and admire you!

  2. Hey Rach! I have heaps of hobbies too: Reading (not alot of fiction apart from a couple of loved authors, mainly autobiographies and non-fiction); learning languages; am passionate about vintage style and fashion especially Art Deco; love to do arts and crafty stuff (sewing, quilting, paper craft, sketching, painting etc) ; love to sing so I do that and sing in worship band at church; play with my pets; photography (set myself a 52 week challenge to take a photo a week with a specified theme - FUN!); cooking (love to bake and create!), event planning and travel booking; researching and geneology (looking up family history etc).... heaps and heaps! Would love to get into hat making as well (combining my love for vintage fashion with my crafty-ness), hehe.
Love to randomly encourage people when I can and bring a smile to their faces, try to be positive and friendly to be a light for other people with difficulties... always a good hobby!

    1. I like Autobiographies as well. There are some really inspiring ones out there! I like vintage things- especially the wedding dresses and the detailing of them!! I sound like a cat dying when I sing but I do love to listen to music. I like photography- I forgot so many of my hobbies!! That is a great hobby.
