Catch up post and Give Ability Day!

I haven't posted since 14/ June and I am really sorry things have been hectic and I have been resting in my spare time.

16 June Mum and I got baptised! It was a magical night and so many people turned up I felt incredibly loved. The speakers were fantastic!

17 June I saw my GP and she had me have a lung CT straight after the appointment. The radiographer said that there was a bit of barium in my lung from my VideoFluroscopy so we know that I am silently aspirating.

18 June I saw my surgeon he said that he needs to have a meeting with ALL of my doctors and come up with a plan on further care for me and surgeries.

19 June I saw my GP for the results she said that the lung had a little bit of chipping around but we really don't need to worry about it- just get my lung checked regularly. She also said that there was a shadow on my liver so I needed further tests. I also saw my eye specialist and my eyes are still fine! There is slight deterioration but I really don't need to stress about it (although that is a little bit hard since my Pop is blind!)

20 June I had my next lot of hip injections and it went really well and I had a lot less pain than last time!

21 June I had a really bad headache- I always get them after the hip injections.

22 June I walked for the first time since the injection. It was great to get up and moving and the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it might be

26 June I had my liver ultrasound and it caused a lot of pain and dislocated ribs. I didn't get the result that day.  I also got my Orthotics I am still having some dislocations while in then but not as many.

Loving my new orthotics
28 June I got a call from my GP telling me the results of my ultrasound. She said that I had 2 benign cysts on my liver but unless they obstuct something. My gall bladder is full of gall stones as well so that will have to come out sometime soon. I have an appointment with the specialist on 1 August.

Today was the GiveAbility Day! It is a day run by Therapy Focus and Help A Child Grow to raise funds to help people with disabilities. The GiveAbility Day last year raised the funds for my thermomix. There were heaps of activitys and the most exciting things for me was that my face was on posters all over Carousel!!

Here are some photos from today:
